First Pan-European Instant Payments go live with EBA and NEXI ACHs
November 2018:
The Eurosystem’s TIPS infrastructure is up and running, facilitating interoperability among the multiple ACHs having launched their EPC compliant SCT Inst scheme.
EBA RT1 was the first to go live with 17 Banks from 8 different EU countries. In Italy NEXI ACH is also live on SCT Inst.
It’s now the turn of the ECB, who has launched TIPS, the only system to allow direct settlement on central bank money.
