T2S and CCBM2
TARGET2 Securities (T2S) is the project promoted by the European Central Bank (ECB) and the four Central Banks of France, Germany, Italy and Spain in order to realize a single European platform for the securities operations settlement, both for the securities and the related cash countervalue.
The expected date of starting of the new platform is September 2014.
Parallely with T2S, the European Central Bank and the Central Banks of Belgium and Holland, are developing the CCBM2 (Collateral Central Bank Management) project in order to harmonize the domestic procedures and cross border securities collateralization in Europe within 2013.
In order to support our customers with the management of these projects impacts in the evolution of the operative and technological platforms, TAS Group has created a T2S Competence Center which makes use of the experiences gained and the already developed solutions to:
- Access to TARGET2, the RTGS reference platform for the cash management in the T2S and CCBM2 projects
- The Treasury and Liquidity management
- The Securities Clearing and Settlement management on the domestic and International markets
- The Corporate Actions automation.
