SEPA
The Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) intends to offer to European citizens the possibility to effect payments in favour of beneficiaries living in every country of the Euro area, by using a single bank account and a set of harmonized payments tools.
The SEPA is based on a set of rules and standards concerning:
- Payment tools (bank transfers, direct debits and payment cards);
- The operative procedures and technical standards;
- The infrastructures for the euro payments management;
- Legal-administrative aspects;
- The new qualified and addressed to the citizens services.
Starting from January 2008 is possible to effect payments according to the SEPA standards through SEPA payment cards and transfers, starting from november 2009 the direct debits are operative.
TAS offers a set of applicative solutions, competences and services in order to support its own customers:
- during the whole process of migration of transfers, direct debits and payment cards which will mark the European payments evolution in the next years;
- in the realization of more effective and efficient applicative infrastructures for the payment flow management and for the payment cards.
