PSD

The Payment Services Directive is the European regulation which will harmonize the behaviours, obligations and responsibilities of the Payment Services Providers (PSP) in the EU/EEA countries, as regards all the payment products.

The Payment Services Directive imposes the banks and operators of the payment sector the exigence to renew processes and contracts and to introduce the necessary to the compliance adjustment.

Besides short-terms interventions, the PSD opens the basic subjects, with middle and long-term impacts.
Beginning with the control of the elaborative chains appears the opportunity to rationalize the processes and systems in order to increase the competitiveness.
