Summary:

TAS Group close to its customers for e-commerce development through MyBank

MyBank is the first Online Banking e-Payment scheme (OBeP) in pan-European circularity,  alternative to payment cards and developed collaboratively by Banks joining EBA-Clearing. The scheme allows each bank to diversify its services within the standards and stimulate payments innovation to e-commerce’s advantage.
With MyBank every Bank can redesign its range of devices and guarantees for online purchase transactions, expand opportunities for consumers and provide e-commerce sites with new tools for promotion and retention. Customers can now choose to directly charge their bank accounts, with different operating and economic conditions, sites will be able to incentivize the payment of high amounts safely and in combination with solutions like installments, discounts and rewarding.

TAS is working to support EBA-CL in the consolidation of MyBank scheme, and is ready to help banks determined to innovate and adhere to the pilot starting in 2012 first half.

TAS Group @ Cartes in North America

TAS Group will take part as a speaker in Cartes North America (Las Vegas, 5-7 March), a new, important business event on card and payment systems, focusing on latest innovations in identification and authentication, mobility and digital security. Special attention will be reserved to EMV deployments and outlooks for EMV adoption in the US.

TAS will contribute to the discussion with a speech titled "Spain and Israel, how well-taken decisions successfully optimize EMV roll-out in full online nationwide infrastructures". On Monday, March 5, at 10.30, we will present our success stories in roll-out of EMV in Spain and Israel, and starting from these experiences we will illustrate some crucial decisions for a successful migration path.

Spending-meter - New obligations for financial operators

TAS is ready to support its clients in adapting their applications to the new regulation requiring financial operators who have contracts related to the use of POS devices to communicate the Italian Revenue Agency, every year, within April 30, information relating to card transactions.

TAS response to Italian budget law’s impacts on e-money systems

In order to make PA payments (taxes, wages, pensions, etc.) more secure and efficient, Italian new budget law identified in the "electronic management" the ideal solution. This means reducing the current use of paper-based systems and introducing new banking instruments, that  every citizen must have.
To be compliant with the new regulations, banks will have to identify new types of accounts and payment cards.
TAS is ready to support them and to implement, with a basic solution, its e-money  products to manage:
  • new cards
  • specific conditions
  • traceability

Bancomat certification process completed by "NPT 3", the new generation of ATM Multivendor

From January 16 to 20 TAS has completed testing related to the certification by Bancomat Association for the new generation of its ATM Multivendor, called "NPT 3".
The product, a key component of our solution for the integrated and independent management of the ATM channel, was the first one with these features to undergo the certification process, which saw TAS software running simultaneously on five terminals from different vendors, working on about twenty different ATM models.
