SEPA Direct Debit

The new system of services for SEPA Direct Debit becomes effective

On November 2, 2009 starts the new system of services for SEPA Direct Debit (SDD - SEPA Direct Debit).

 

From now, two different direct debit standards, provided by the European Payments Council, become effective. The  “basic"  Direct Debit - SEPA Core Direct Debit Scheme - which involves company and consumer (B2C) – and the corporate-oriented Direct Debit - SEPA Business to Business Direct Debit Scheme - which concerns Corporates (B2B).

 

From today, all the European commercial banks served by TAS Group can offer their customers the new services of pre-authorized takings in euros within the SEPA.

 

In compliance with the new rules, TAS Group has promptly updated and adapted its suites, including:

• GARI GOLD Transaction Flow Manager for SEPA Direct Debit (GG TFM for SDD), the TAS Group proposal that fits in the GGTFM architecture, the network middleware for the management of the ISO UNIFI XML 20022nd standard
• MIXER 2.0 SDD, the TAS Group solution which extends the operational and business functionalities of the product to the SEPA SDD messaging.
